Concentration Camps

During World War II concentration camps were established throughout Europe by the Nazis under the dictatorship of Adolf Hitler. Millions of Jewish civilians were displaced from there homes and forced into ghettos or concentration camps. The Jewish people were detained to these areas and many died of mistreatment, malnutrition, and disease. Jewish individuals were exploited to slave labor and for medical experimentations. Nazi's also established extermination camps in Eastern Europe where millions of Jewish men, women, and children were killed in gas chambers. Your task is to research and see how many concentration camps were established? Briefly explain one of the major camps? Also, find out how many extermination camps were built in Europe?
